Hello everyone! Let´s go with one more entry of this new section of the blog dedicated to "various stuff". After the last two entries dedicated to food inspired by video games and special edition prepaid cards for video games in Japan, in this entry I´m gonna show you the different official clothing collections inspired by multi-million selling game franchise Metal Gear crated by Hideo Kojima, which were released to promote the different adventures of "20th century´s best soldier", and that prove that Snake´s influence goes beyond the screen and the controller (and that Konami is a genius or merchandising.)

 - Metal Gear x Puma -

In order to promote the release of Metal Gear V The Phantom Pain and its prologue Ground Zeroes, the German sports clothing company Puma and Konami joined forces to release several pieces of clothing inspired by the Metal Gear franchise in the Japanese market, such us T-shirts, sports shoes and even "sneaking boots", which were even more expensive than the console and the game itself together, although that didn´t avoid they sell out...

The mentioned sneaking boots. Now you will walk like a Big Boss.

- Metal Gear x Seiko -

Konami also joined forces with Japanese watchmaker Seiko to release several limited edition watches in the Japanese market to promote the releases of Metal Gear Rising and Metal Gear V The Phantom Pain.

Finally, for all those who missed the chance and want to be a part of Big Boss´s "fashionable" private army, I leave you here a couple of links of 2 official Metal Gear clothing collections that are still available for purchase:
